Opus 135 is Beethoven's last quartet, a concise work in which he pulls out all the stops. The original and the alternative finale of opus 130: they will both sound tonight. After the famous 'Cavatina' from opus 130, according to some Beethoven's most beautiful composition, the impressive 'Grosse Fugue' is finally played.
