Beethoven String Quartets in Netherlands - Part Four
As part of our second international tour this year, we will journey to The Netherlands to play all of Beethoven's string quartets spread over six concerts. A first, because never before has there been an integral performance of these works in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

Opus 18 No. 6
Opus 95
Opus 127
In opus 18 no. 6 there is humor à la Haydn, before Beethoven closes the quartet with La Malinconia (melancholy). He wrote the Quartetto Serioso opus 95 for insiders, not for public performances. Opus 127 is the first of Beethoven's famous late quartets.Â
