As part of our second international tour this year, we will journey to The Netherlands to play all of Beethoven's string quartets spread over six concerts. A first, because never before has there been an integral performance of these works in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

Beethoven String Quartets:
Opus 18 No. 3
Opus 18 No. 1
Opus 59 No. 1
Opus 18 No. 3 is the first quartet that Beethoven completed. Like opus 18 no. 1, the work is rich in musical inventions and perfectly proportioned. Opus 59 no. 1, the first Razumovski quartet, is a grand string quartet of almost symphonic dimensions.
