An evening of music and words with the New Zealand String Quartet, Dr Luo Hui and musicians that explore cultural connections between New Zealand and China, celebrates opening borders and the University’s 125th birthday. Hear contemporary pieces from Chinese composers and poets and let the sounds of traditional Chinese instruments transport you across the bridge to China.
Join us as we mark New Zealand Chinese Language Week and congratulate the winners of the 2022 China Crossing Composition Competition for students of New Zealand School of Music—Te Kōkī supported by the Confucius Institute at Victoria University of Wellington.
