How Do I Feel? Music of Emotions
Monday 25 September, 10am & 12pm, 45 minutes
Te Marae, Level Four, Te Papa, 55 Cable Street, Te Aro, Wellington
Join the New Zealand String Quartet and popular musical children’s entertainer Chris Lam Sam at Te Papa as they embark on a journey of emotions inspired by the award-winning book ‘How Do I Feel? Dictionary of Emotions’ by Rebekah Lipp & Craig Phillips.
Combining the magic of music, illustration, and audience participation, this concert will encourage children to explore and evoke familiar feelings like happiness, sadness, and anger, while introducing some potentially new ones like anticipation and amusement!
This highly interactive 45-minute performance has been written with primary-school-aged tamariki in mind, but guarantees to have something the whole family can enjoy. After packed performances at Te Papa in Wellington and Tūranga Library in Christchurch in April 2023, we're stoked to be bringing How Do I Feel? Music of Emotions back to Te Papa!
With thanks to Wildling Books, and our event partner, Te Papa.
You can purchase How Do I Feel?, the award-winning and best-selling book from wildlingbooks.com, or in good bookshops across New Zealand.
