Marketing & Administration Co-ordinator

Part time permanent, 24 hours p/w (3 days)

Location: Wellington / National

Working closely with the General Manager and the Operations & Finance Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity to develop the digital profile of the NZSQ. The incoming Marketing & Administration Co-ordinator will play an active role in shaping how the NZSQ presents itself in the Aotearoa New Zealand arts scene, and connects with our diverse audiences across the country.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual to co-ordinate and shape our marketing activity, digital platforms and support the day-to-day operations of the NZSQ Trust, ensuring all NZSQ concert and education activity is widely promoted.

With a flair for communication, the Marketing & Administration Co-ordinator will take pride in sharing the NZSQ’s activity, our story, and the power of classical music in the 21st Century.

This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in marketing/arts administration within a friendly team, and gain a broad understanding of how arts organisations operate.



You will bring:
  • At least 1 years’ experience in a marketing or arts administration role

  • Well developed oral and written communication skills; the ability to write in a fresh and engaging way and communicate with a wide range of people

  • A self-starter attitude with a creative and flexible approach to niche marketing
