As part of our second international tour this year, we will journey to The Netherlands to play all of Beethoven's string quartets spread over six concerts. A first, because never before has there been an integral performance of these works in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

Opus 59 No. 2
Opus 18 no. 2 owes the nickname Komplimentierungsquartett to the graceful reverence with which the work opens. Finally, after the Harfenquartett opus 74 – this nickname because of the pizzicati in the first movement – the second Razumovski quartet, opus 59 no.
