POSTPONED - 2022 Adam Summer School Finale Concerts

UPDATE: With the recent shift to ‘Red’ and ongoing uncertainties, it is with a heavy heart we have made the tough decision to postpone our Adam Summer School and the Finale Concerts this February. The health and safety of our students, tutors, staff and audiences is our number one priority. We are looking into postponement options and hope to have a more positive update very soon. The Adam Summer School returns to Nelson in February, showcasing Aotearoa’s rising young stars of string and piano performance.

Prepare to be enchanted as students perform masterworks of the great composers in two electrifying Finale Concerts, with works by Schubert, Brahms, Grieg, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Shostakovich and Beethoven. The annual Adam Summer School offers world-class coaching by the inimitable New Zealand String Quartet and guest pianist-in-residence, Diedre Irons, and has seen more than 350 students attend the school in its 27-year history, many going on to achieve international acclaim. These concerts are always the highlight of the year - show your support for our next generation of musicians, and get set to be 'wowed'!
