The New Zealand String Quartet is one of Aotearoa’s foremost music ensembles, much-loved by audiences at home and acclaimed internationally for its powerful communication, dramatic energy and beauty of sound. Champions of New Zealand music and devoted teachers, the NZSQ performs over ninety concerts and education workshops each year to critical acclaim.
Particular skills/competencies required
The New Zealand String Quartet Trust is looking to appoint a new Trustee/Kaitiaki to our Board/Te Poari Kaitiaki. This is a nation-wide search as we seek to replace a Trustee/Kaitiaki who has been with the Trust for ten years.
At this time we are looking for an individuals who:
is interested in leading our Finance, Audit and Risk sub-committee,
has experience in classical music,
has financial acumen.
Along with your skills and experience, you will also need to be collaborative, and strong contributor.
Commitment required
This is a voluntary board that currently meets four times a year, usually in Wellington or virtually. Travel expense will be reimbursed.
